Underage Possession or Consumption of Alcohol

Underage Possession or Consumption of Alcohol is a violation of a City Ordinance and not of state law.  Therefore, it is not reported to the Georgia Crime Information Center.  However, this does not mean that it would not have to be disclosed on applications for certain jobs, etc. 

For first time offenders who are under 18 at the time of the offense the sentence is a fine (plus all the taxes) and 40 hours of community service.

For first time offenders who are 18 or over at the time of the offense the sentence is a fine (plus all the taxes).  If the person requests a deferred adjudication then 40 hours of community service will be added.
